AREAS OF SPECIALISM

You might be in the right place if…

I work with adults navigating trauma, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ experiences, and religious or spiritual abuse. There's no right or wrong way to arrive here.

Trauma

You set the pace, always. Safety comes before anything else. We won't go anywhere you're not ready for.

Religious & spiritual abuse

No pressure to forgive or reconcile. Your anger, grief, and confusion are all valid responses to real harm.

Neurodivergence

I have lived experience of late-diagnosed ADHD. You don't have to mask here. Be exactly as you are.

Creative workshops

Experiential wellbeing workshops for individuals and groups — in person and online across Norfolk.

LGBTQ+

All of you is welcome here. It's not your job to educate me. Your identity is the starting point, not something to work around.

WARM, DIRECT AND GENUINELY HUMAN

Hi, I'm Claire.

I'm a feminist, creative, earthy therapist who believes your politics, your identity, and your daily life belong in the room. For many people I work with — especially those from marginalised communities — those things aren't separate from mental health. They are mental health.

I work collaboratively. You are the expert on yourself. My job is to work alongside you, not ahead of you.

FAQ's

How do online sessions work?

All sessions take place on Google Meet — no app download needed, just a link sent to you before each session. You'll need a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection. That's it.

How long does therapy take?

There's no fixed answer — it depends entirely on what you're working through and what feels right for you. Some people find a few months helpful. Others work with me longer term. We'll check in regularly and you're always in control of when to pause or stop.

Do I need a diagnosis to access neurodivergent-affirming therapy?

No. You don't need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Self-identification is valid and respected here.

What if I need to cancel a session?

Please give at least 48 hours notice where possible. Life happens — if you're unsure or something comes up, just get in touch and we'll work it out.

I'm nervous about starting — is that okay?

Completely. Most people feel nervous before their first session. You don't need to know what to say or have anything prepared. The first conversation is just that — a conversation. No pressure, no commitment.

Do you work with young people?

Yes — I work with adults and young people aged 16 and over.

Are you LGBTQ+ affirming?

Yes. I'm listed on Pink Therapy and the LGBTQ+ community is one of my specialist areas. All identities, relationships, and expressions are welcome here without question or explanation.

What areas do you cover?

I work fully online, so I can work with anyone in the UK. I'm based in North Norfolk and my local directories include Norfolk, Suffolk, and East Anglia.

Ready to take the first step?

You don't need to have it figured out. Reach out, and we'll take it from there — at your pace, in your own time.
